All ski lessons are purchased via our website. Once you purchase your lessons, a member of our ski team will contact you between business hours Mon - Fri and get you booked into a suitable time and date. Please note, the team will only book one lesson at a time, this is to ensure you are always skiing with someone of a similar ability
When should I arrive?
We ask that you arrive 15mins prior to your lesson starting, this gives us enough time to get you checked in and geared up, ready for your lesson.
What should I wear?
It is best to wear tracksuit bottoms or something similar that allows for movement. Please refrain from wearing denim as not only will this harm our slopes, it'll make it a bit harder for you to move freely.
It is best to wear a T-shirt or a light jacket up top. Note, we use water on our slopes so there is a chance you may get a little wet.
How long will it last?
Each lesson lasts for a total of 1 hour and consists of 30 minutes total ski time, broken up by 2 x 15 minute rest periods (it can get really demanding on your legs so these are needed!)
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age for ski lessons is 4 years + and for snowboarding, it's 8 years +
Can I ski with my child?
Of course, our family lessons are great for families that want to ski together. With other standard lessons, this is not the case however, we will always pair skiers up with people of a similar age and ability. This helps keep everyone on the correct progression path.
What are your opening hours?
Our ski opening hours vary depending on the time of year, during ski season we are open weekdays from 12pm - 9pm, Saturdays 10am - 6pm and Sunday 11am - 6pm.
Outside of ski season, hours will vary depending on availability and demand. Contact the team via email (email@example.com) to get live availability.
I can't make my lesson, what should I do?
If you can not make your ski season, we ask that you contact us within 24 hours notice. This way we can reschedule your booking and let another customer fill your slot. If 24 hours notice is not given we can not guarantee reschedules.
What will I need to bring/ can I bring my own equipment?
All equipment you need will be provided, including skis/board, boots, poles and helmet. If you want to wear your own boots and helmet you can do so however you will have to wear our skis/snowboard as they are tailored to our slopes. Please note, helmets must be worn by all participants while on the slope.
Can I ski without an instructor?
No, all lessons will have an instructor present who controls the slopes and help you improve and progress.
I have a disability or other pre-existing medical conditions, can I participate?
As Skiing and Snowboarding is a physical activity, we always suggest making contact with your own GP for medical and pre-existing conditions. As regards to any disability or special needs please contact us directly to discuss and arrange a site visit prior to purchase lessons.
